great- thanks, Chaz!

I will be interested in the durability of service parts, such as UV lights and filters which need replacing every 6 months/year. As you mentioned, some components may be unhealthy, and the research investment is well worth it when finding alternative filtration parts.

Hello blog attendees;

I have finally decided to get more active on this blog, as this seems such a natural fit for what I do, which is micro solar applications, and personal solar power solutions.
I am the current designer and builder of the SolMan mobile solar generator, and owner of SolSolutions.

We are rapidly adding new content and information to our website,
and have just released our newest SolMan lithium battery model,
to very interested responses, and I am helping the interns at the Solar Living Center in Hopland setup their tiny home demo project with SolMan power. We are a sponsor at this years Solfest Sept, 25 & 26 and will be running a stage and providing power there.

We also doing more custom solar solutions for the trailer and RV market, as well as off-grid, and also adding in some of the best in new super efficient electric applications that can extend your battery life tremendously, and I would love to dialog with folks
about how micro solar and and smart use can help in the tiny home world.
I have been living off-grid with SolMan power and re-thinking my electric use for the last 3 years +.

Look forward to your questions.

Chaz

John;

We have run the atmospheric water generators, such as Ecolo-Blue, for hours at a time during the day off of the SolMan. At 280 watts draw, that is within reason anytime, but you will be more effective if you run things like that while you have PV power coming in from the sun. Makes two to five gallons a day, depending on the humdity.
I was going to pick them up as a dealer, but there were some issues with the unhealthy chinese components that put me off.
I am researching others, and will shortly have more detail, and post on my site.

This would be an excellent application for completely getting off the grid, and it was a great display, as we did a booth with no wires or hoses, and had our own electric and water, just being pulled from the air and sun........
