These types of houses are a novel idea for several reasons. I'm new to this and, as such, this is the first time I'm hearing about houses of these dimensions. This type of housing can save on expenses as well as hazardous/dangerous areas within earthquake zones. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed visiting with Jay during his stop in Whitehall, OH last summer....and seeing the Fenci. Have the Lusby plans with the Fenci front been posted on the website? I couldn't find them. At my age I can't easily climb up into a loft...so a first floor bedroom is a must! (I'll let my grandchildren sleep up above when they visit.)

Hello Jay,
I left a few questions in early January on the blog but I can't find them now to see if there was an answer yet.
I was wondering if there is anybody in Australia who has built a Tumbleweed house yet?
Also, when buying plans, how do I know which ones to get if I have alterations I'd like to make? Do these changes happen in discussion with a builder or do I talk to you about them first? What is the normal procedure when building a house?
Also, do you have to have re-inforced glass of some kind in the windows for travelling, in the way that car window glass is thicker and designed for travelling at speed?
If you're using water tanks rather than city water, how do you create pressure for the water to come out of the taps? Is a small pump involved?
I had another question earlier, which I've forgotten for now, but thank you in advance,
Penelope Bergen
