40 Tiny Houses in 40 Days – Day 2

February 3, 2012

I ran across this little vardo at Point Reyes Station Inn. Like most of the structures I’ve collected images of, I don’t know anything about it’s history or interior.

40 Tiny Houses in 40 Days – Day 1

February 2, 2012

I’ve been shooting pictures of other folk’s tiny houses for over a decade now. While I’ve put some of my images in The Small House Book, I’ve still got some more stuff I should put out there. Here, then, are a few of my favorites- some new, some old.

See Pepper’s House

January 6, 2012

Looking for a tiny house of your own? Jump on this one-of-a-kind opportunity to purchase a built tiny house based on the Lusby plans. This one, built by Pepper Clark, will be in Bodega Bay on January 15th. Before we spill the details on the Open House, let’s focus on the house that Pepper built.

The house features bamboo flooring and beautiful hardwood walls and ceiling. What about the kitchen? This stunning space is outfitted with a 22″ 3 burner propane range with oven and built-in broiler, gorgeous custom maple cabinetry with painted panels and toe-kick drawers. Both the kitchen and bathroom are finished with brushed nickel lead-free fixtures. The installed hot water heater holds 19 gallons. Toss in the 3.7 cu. ft. stainless steel under counter refrigerator with freezer compartment and a 19″ x 8″ deep stainless steel single bowl sink, you’ve got the tiny kitchen of your dreams.

Spend your nights in the cozy loft, catching the evening breezes from the dual-paned, octagonal wood awning window with a removable screen.

Besides the nickel lead-free fixtures, the bathroom features a 32″ shower surround, a low flow showerhead, a triple mirrored beveled recessed medicine chest and a low flush comfort height porcelain RV toilet with full sized seat.

Listed price of the Lusby is $49,997. This house is currently on sale. Save $5,000 as we clear out our winter inventory! Now at $44,997
