Basic Building Questions

Can I build it myself?
We sell the house plans, but they don’t come with instructions. We are happy to consult with you to help the project go smoothly, but unless you are an experienced builder, we recommend you work with licensed professionals.

How long will it take to build?
It usually takes anywhere from 500-800 hours to complete a tiny house.

What kind of trailer do I need?

Do you have any contractors you recommend?
We have not gone through the process to find and qualify contractors to build Tumbleweed homes in other areas.

What about permit requirements?
In most municipalities, anything under 120 square feet is permit-exempt as an accessory structure. You will need to research the requirements for your area.
