After thorough study if you narrow the bathroom to 7 3/4' x 4' with say a linea shower stall instead of tub, you could build narrow stairs between bath and kitchen with a landing about 3/4 the way up and right hand turn and couple of stairs to the loft.

This would be even easier it ceiling height on the first floor was adjusted to just over interior door height at 83"

It would make for way more usable loft space as well with the standard bodega plan. Curious as to your opinion Jay

Have you considered Extreme Make-Over's Ty's contact on this order? = One Week Projects often need additional office or areas for families? = I have forwarded this info to my cousin who does small contracting in Raleigh NC area for families in need from flooded out or hurricane losses as well. Thanks for the article.

Love the idea that this plan have the bedroom added for 1-level living. My husband and I want a tiny house for our elder years, and the fact that there are options that don't require use of stairs and ladders is important. I'd love to see a village of these tiny houses with the money saved in shared green space and a swimming pool!
