Suggestion for those needing dedicated laundry and/or more freezer or pantry space - nix the booth and put the full size applicances or dedicated space there. If repurposed for laundry, consider using it also as the family clothes closet, which would free up your other closet spaces and any needs for a dresser in each bedroom. Just bring up the clothes as needed.

This might also be the ideal spot for those wanting a backdoor/mudroom and/or additional freezer space.

Obviously, this would put a damper on the planned dining space but we have to be willing to compromise certain luxuries to live small(er) while still meeting certain items on our wish lists. There are so many collapsible or foldout table designs these days, that shouldn't be a problem and chairs can be multipurposed, folded or even hung on walls (and used as small shelves when not in use).

Someone (with a large family and limited space) once told me, it doesn't matter where you sleep, as long as there are enough seats at the dinner table for everyone in your home.

Is the older Enesti floor plan still available? It appears that this one is a refined version? Or Jay, could you write what updates are presented? It looks like there is now a laundry closet in the kitchen, a closet in the bathroom, the pantry shelf is smaller, the stairs extend into the downstairs hall, and there are folding doors. Is the refrigerator next to the booth and stove top?

This type of dwelling would only be considered as a holiday home in the UK due to Building Regulations.
I would have the front door opening outwards to save inside space. I would also consider fitting sliding doors upstairs to make better use of te available space.
