There are thousands of camp grounds, like KOA, where you could park these overnight. They run about $30 a night, but state parks are considerably less. Most have electric, water and sewer hookups as well.

I'm a penniless college student, but give me five or ten years and I'll be all over this thing. It's gorgeous!

Hello....I was surprised to read this comment....I've been working on a floor plan....and came up with something very similar to yours!!! The tiny house I want to build is for 2 people...one young adult and a pre-teen....but I want to built it with more "sleeping room" in case any of my family ever needed a place to live...my floor plan has a vaulted ceiling only on the "main room"...on the left there's a tiny room with only enough room to fit a built in bunk bed...the rest of the room is a "walk-in closet"....above that there's a loft....on the right side of the main room is the kitchen and the bathroom...above that there's a loft....I made so the left side of the main room and the right side of the main room are exactly the same size...I'm thinking of putting some tiny doors in the middle of the loft...or a small opening...I wouldn't want anyone to fall off...also for privacy....I want everything to be eco-friendly...it saves a lot of money...and I'd rather spend money on travel and experiences than house bills...if I have the choice...I'm thinking about getting an incinerating toilet...I found a really good one...I'm not exactly sure about the shower yet.....I want to travel the country...and travel the world and this tiny house would give me the freedom to do so...my uncle builds houses...he would be able to build this tiny house in no time...I'm hoping to have it built in less than $25,000...I wish I could build it and buy a truck for $25,000...my tiny house is 8 x 20....I also live in Washington....I was wondering...if you had to get a building permit?...also...if you have to pay property taxes?

Where do you park such a thing when you have to make a stop while driving somewhere new? Does it fit in a parking space? That's my only question that hasn't really been answered.

Jay, I am in the process of locating a trailer and getting some questions answered and then I plan on purchasing the plans from you (and your book!)

But I would like to know if the doors and windows you used on EPU model house are CUSTOM made (I know the upper church window is...), but what about the front door and windows?

Thank you in advance for what you can share! I am very excited to get started!!
