LOVE your houses -- we want to build one in the coming year!
Now, for the persnickety comment: I feel compelled to mention that the correct terminology for the siding method that you refer to throughout your website as "board and baton" is actually "board and batten."
Best!

Travis, while the Tiny Houses are built to be moved from location to location, they were not really intended to be RV's, Trailers or Campers. For instance, in the Tumbleweed, most of your furniture and supplies are not attached to the surface, as they would be in a trailer or other RV. Thus, everytime you would move the Tiny House, you would need to not only secure the chairs and furniture but also pack up all the incidental and non-attached items within the dwelling. This could get cumbersome after a while.

However, that being said, with lots of TLC and maintenance, the Tumbleweed will withstand road travel just fine.

Lots to consider!

My girlfriend and I have been talking about building one of these and taking it cross country while I tour for a year. Jay do you have any insight into this? Are there big concerns with driving this much with the house? Does it vastly affect speed and gas mileage? Thanks in advance.

I've enjoyed reviewing your tiny houses. The Tarleton is very appealing. Installing screens on the porch would make a great sleeping area during the warmer months.
