O please, O please! The only thing that would keep me from buying this over the B-53 model would be the lack of staircase, but that is a perfect thought!

Quick question. I like how the windows are evenly spaced on the outside of the house, but with a window above the bathroom sink, where would you put the mirror? It seems like it would be awkward above the toilet or on the adjacent wall.

I live in CA and decent houses usually cost 3 times + what the building costs of these homes are. Even though I am currently in college, and unable to finance something like this right now, I would most definitely consider building my own home in the future when I am financially secure and established in my future career. Of the tumbleweed homes, I think the Widbey would suit my future needs best: seperate bedrooms for me and my son, and a spacious loft for extra storage and a study. I also love how a freestanding fireplace is included; it's a nice touch. However I would like to open up the kitchen where the wall is for an open bar so there is a place to dine. This is just another reason for me to look forward to the future-- I'm excited that I will have a chance for affordable housing.
