Open House Tours
On the second Saturday of the month, Jay opens his private residence, the Epu model, for all to see. The event takes place from 2pm – 4pm in Sebastopol, CA. (Please check schedule to confirm the open house dates). It is a chance for you to hang out with us and ask questions. Jay along with the company president, Steve, are both there to answer all types of questions and have a good time getting to meet our fans.

Questions About Visiting
I’m in the area right now, can I come by and take a look?
Generally we don’t offer impromptu tours or schedule an open house for just one person. You may, however, schedule a private consultation and house tour for a fee of $100, applicable towards a house purchase.
Can I just drive by Jay’s house and see it from the outside?
Out of respect to the neighbors privacy, we do not give out directions to Jay’s home except for the open house.
Is there a Tumbleweed Tiny House close to where I live?
To protect the privacy of the homeowners and their neighbors, we don’t publicly advertise home locations. We do, however, encourage homeowners to send us photos and videos that we can share with you via our e-newsletter (sign up at the top right of the page). Generally, most people who have built/bought a Tumbleweed prefer to maintain their privacy.
Can I see Dee’s Tiny House?
Dee Williams is one of our first customers and generously opens her home to the public. She is happy to set up an appointment for you to visit her homemade tiny house in Olympia, Washington. It is a combination of Tumbleweed’s Epu and Biensi designs. Please contact us for more information.
Will Jay be able to answer my questions at the open house?
Our open house is generally very busy with many guests. Jay talks about what it is like living in a tiny house as well as his lifestyle choices. There is an opportunity for questions, and we try to answer as many as possible. But do keep in mind that we will try to stay balanced and answer everyone’s questions. This is a great opportunity to take pictures and video. If you have a long list of questions, we recommend a private consultation and house tour for a fee of $100, applicable towards a home purchase.
