Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick just banned cars from the road in Boston and has shut down public transportation and schools.

We have half our staff here in Boston ready to put on a tiny house event rain or shine or blizzard for that matter. Unfortunately, the college we booked our event at will not be accessible to anyone.

We spoke with so many of you who were ready to be there no matter what … as are we. However, at this point, it would be illegal for us and you to drive and we can’t encourage that. The reality is that we simply can not legally hold the workshop this weekend.

There is good news. We do have another workshop scheduled in Boston in April, and a workshop in Philadelphia in May. We will also be adding another Boston workshop to accommodate as many of you as possible.

I will be reaching out to every single person over the next week. I’m not sure how much longer I will have power, so if you don’t here from me this weekend, please do not worry … I will call you or email you if I don’t have your phone number.
