OPEN HOUSE Free Open House tours are from 2pm - 4pm in Sebastopol, CA. We will be showing Jay's private residence, the Epu model. This is the only house we are able to show at this time. You are asked to give an RSVP confirmation with your name and the number of people in your party.
BUILDING WORKSHOP This is a limited seating, full-day workshop where we will focus on how to build a tiny house from the foundation to the roof. We'll discuss building basics, types of trailers, heaters, kitchen equipment, windows and more. Jay will talk about different building materials, and the advantages and disadvantages of each. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. Saturday from 9am-5pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
DESIGN WORKSHOP
This is a limited seating, full-day workshop where we will focus on how to design a small house of your own. We will discuss what is the human element of living in a smaller space, and you will be taught the tools to design a small home that meets your personal needs. You will have a chance to talk with Jay Shafer, national expert on small living, about the various choices to make about living small. Sunday from 9am-5pm with a one-hour break for lunch.
PRICING The building workshop is free with purchase of a set of plans. Ticket prices are as follows: Building Workshop $275, Design Workshop $375, Both Workshops $500. If you'd like to bring a friend, a guest ticket may be purchased for $125 per day.
CANCELLATION You may cancel your workshop ticket no later than one week prior to the event. There is a $50 fee per person for cancellation.
