Katrina received the call that her Tumbleweed Elm was complete and decided to pick it up herself, even though she didn’t have any towing experience. Nervous about her maiden voyage, Katrina pulled up to the Colorado Springs showroom and was thankful that the Tumbleweed team offered to give her a towing lesson.
“After driving the neighborhoods with my Tiny House RV, I felt comfortable and confident,” Katrina explains. “My mentor taught me how to navigate with 10,000 lbs behind me! EASY! I GOT THIS.”
Customizations used in Katrina’s Tumbleweed:
- Beetle-kill pine interior paneling
- Stairs and railings were customized to have a longer/less steep run
- Hoist was added, so a kayak can be suspended above the great room for storage and transport
- Custom kitchen lighting and storage. Katrina is a raw food, juicer, health coach. The kitchen was the focus on her design.
