The Toledo Museum of Art has included a Tumbleweed XS House in an exhibition called Small Worlds. Amy Gilman, curator at the museum is fascinated by the simplicity of a tiny home and was compelled to include one in the exhibition. She was able to bring together people in the Toledo community to make it happen.
The legacy Tumbleweed XS House was auctioned off in 2012 and the proceeds went to the museum’s early childhood art education fund which serves over 60,000 preschool and school-aged children in Ohio and Michigan each year.
The story behind the build of the XS tiny house was documented in a YouTube video which is a must see!
